This year’s event at the Portland Art Museum features 16,000 square feet of party space. The best entertainers in the Northwest will keep the party going. On top of that, there’s a massive video countdown, confetti cannons, balloon drops, party favors, and a complimentary champagne toast.

New Year’s Eve Skate Party

Oaks Park’s New Year’s Eve Skate Party is the ultimate NYE event for the whole family. The special skating event starts from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. and it promises a night of groove, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
It features a live DJ, skate specials, party favors, and a countdown to midnight. Ticket prices are $23 for skating only, $28 for skating + champagne toast, $7 for spectator (no skating), and $12 for spectator + champagne toast.

Friday kicks off with a bang, featuring headliner PEEKABOO, alongside Chee, Fly, Tsuruda, and Player Dave. For Saturday, the event brings LP Giobbi, Mija, Dot, and J. Phlip. On the other hand, you can welcome the New Year on Sunday with Beats Antique, Vincent Antone, Tripp St., and Balkan Bump.

36th Annual New Year’s Eve Sobriety Powwow

Finding a New Year’s Eve party without any alcohol can be a challenge, to say the least. The 36th Annual New Year’s Eve Sobriety Powwow of the Native American Rehabilitation Association of the Northwest, Inc. is one of the largest sober New Year powwows in the nation.
This year, the event is taking place at the Wingspan Event & Conference Center, just a bit beyond the city but it’s definitely worth the drive. This powwow promises an unforgettable afternoon and night of drums, dance, and honoring traditions. The schedule is packed with excitement, from fun games to a special sobriety countdown at 9:30 p.m., leading to a joyous moment of welcoming 2024 at midnight.
For those concerned about the commute, NARA NW will provide a shuttle from the Hillsboro Max Station to Wingspan on the hour, starting at noon. This celebration of life and resilience is free and open to the public.
